7DT is located at El Sauce Observatory (The Willow tree in Spanish) in Chilean Rio Hurdato Valley, in the south of the Atacama desert. Just south of the sites of the World’s leading astronomical observatories, such as the Vera C. Rubin Observatory and the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory, El Sauce Observatory provide excellent seeing conditions and clear nights (up to 320 nights per year).
