Project support

Further project support is provided by the National Research Foundation of Korea (MSIT). Several members of the collaboration are additionally supported by individual NRF awards; those grants support the researchers rather than the facility, and are acknowledged in their own papers.

7DT is operated in part with support from special funding of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI).

Infrastructure

KREONET / KISTI

Nightly transfer of roughly 350 GB of raw data from Chile to the processing facility in Seoul is carried by KREONET, the Korea Research Environment Open NETwork, operated by KISTI, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information. The 7DT project gratefully acknowledges this support, without which same-day reduction of survey and target-of-opportunity data would not be possible.
